We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Creative Director to lead and expand our Design Services team within Marketing. This role involves overseeing visual designers responsible for creating high-impact creative across all marketing channels, including brand campaigns, performance ads, web, social media, and product marketing. You will be instrumental in elevating our brand and establishing the structure, processes, and creative culture necessary for scaling.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position is ideal for a creative leader with B2B SaaS experience who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and can balance exceptional design with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership: Lead the development of all marketing creative, ensuring brand consistency and design excellence across campaigns, web, social, paid advertising, events, and product marketing.
  • Team Management & Growth: Hire, mentor, and develop a team of visual designers, animators, and video specialists. Foster a collaborative, feedback-rich environment that supports creativity and career growth.
  • Design Strategy: Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop design strategies that elevate the brand and drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of creative projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, resourcing, and prioritization to ensure team efficiency. Install innovative solutions to improve creative operations and stakeholder management processes.
  • Brand Development: Evolve and maintain brand guidelines and visual identity as the company grows and scales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Demand Gen, Content, Product Marketing, Event Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to deliver high-quality creative that aligns with campaign goals and business objectives.
  • Performance-Driven Design: Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve creative output and optimize assets for conversion and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, or Equivalent.
  • 7+ years of design and creative leadership experience, with at least 2+ years managing a team.
  • Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating creative range across brand, events, web, mobile, social, video, advertising, and more.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, branding, and marketing creative best practices.
  • Proven experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally within a startup or high-growth company.
  • Experience managing creative operations and developing processes that scale with growth.
  • A strong track record of building and mentoring design teams.
  • Experience working with external creative agencies and/or freelancers.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, AI solutions, and Asana.
