Responsibilities

Define opportunities and direction for products in Sweden, collaborating with global/regional teams to deliver hyper-localised solutions
Work closely with product teams (Product Managers and Engineers) to develop vision and build better products/experiences for Swedish customers
Collaborate with global teams (Product, Finance, Treasury, etc.) to keep customers and products at the mission's center
Identify optimal ways to grow Wise in Sweden, including managing licences/registrations with central banking and expansion teams
Manage day-to-day requirements for Swedish authorisation from Product and Compliance perspectives
Lead the Swedish branch and operations into next growth stage, including oversight of business operations and de-facto leadership to local teams
Manage relationships with regulators (e.g., Finansinspektionen), government departments, and ensure good governance; participate in committees and Board meetings
Represent Wise in Sweden, working with PR and Product Marketing to drive brand awareness and position as key industry player
Maintain/improve relationships with industry partners and financial institutions; lead commercial/relationship discussions and create new opportunities
