Responsibilities

  • Define opportunities and direction for products in France, collaborating with global/regional teams to deliver hyper-localised solutions
  • Work closely with product teams (Product Managers and Engineers) to develop vision and build better products/experiences for French customers
  • Collaborate with global teams (Product, Finance, Treasury, etc.) to keep customers and products at the mission's center
  • Identify optimal ways to grow Wise in France, including managing licences/registrations with central banking and expansion teams
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing/future authorisations for the best market products
  • Manage day-to-day requirements for French authorisation from Product and Compliance perspectives
  • Lead the French branch and operations into next growth stage, including oversight of business operations and de-facto leadership to local teams
  • Manage relationships with regulators (e.g., represent Wise to ACPR and AMF) and non-commercial stakeholders (e.g., government departments), ensuring good governance
  • Participate in relevant committees and Board meetings
  • Represent Wise in France, working with PR and Product Marketing to drive brand awareness and position as key industry player
  • Maintain/improve relationships with industry partners and financial institutions
  • Lead commercial/relationship discussions with partners for sustainable, competitive services
  • Create new opportunities within existing relationships with financial/non-financial institutions in France
