Country Manager, Benelux
Position Overview
As the Country Manager for Benelux at Acronis, you will be instrumental in achieving sales and profit targets aligned with the company's business strategy. This role involves deep market understanding, identifying new opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth. You will act as the voice of the customer internally, contributing to product development and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Build comprehensive knowledge of the Benelux region, including the competitive landscape, top prospects, vendors, distributors, market insights, and partner ecosystem.
- Strategic Contribution: Share market knowledge with functional teams to contribute to building regional expansion plans.
- Revenue Achievement: Achieve and exceed revenue and billing targets for the region.
- Sales Strategy: Define sales strategy and priorities for the Benelux region.
- Team Alignment & Coaching: Align with functional sales teams assigned to the region, define priorities, and provide guidance and coaching.
- Sales Model Execution: Successfully execute the Acronis Sales Model and achieve increased scalability through multiple routes to market.
- Marketing Leadership: Provide leadership to develop marketing strategy and oversee its implementation for effective market penetration.
- Team Management: Ensure all team members understand and work towards common goals within the integrated country/regional plan.
- Customer Satisfaction & Growth: Ensure client satisfaction, win market share, and broaden offerings with potential new customers.
- Relationship Management: Build and manage executive relationships with key clients, vendors, prospects, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Performance Improvement: Identify underperforming areas of the business and collaborate with Functional Leaders and Growth Leaders on action plans.
- Issue Escalation: Act as a point of escalation for Customer & Partner issues.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a positive ambassador for the Benelux region throughout Acronis.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify large opportunities in the region and work with functional sales teams to drive them to successful closure.
- Strategic Partnerships: Leverage personal networks and executive relationships to support strategic partner acquisition and growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Market Feedback: Provide market feedback and insights to support product development and marketing initiatives.
- Deliverables: Drive and produce key deliverables including:
- Country plans agreed with key stakeholders.
- Sales target distribution with Sales Operations.
- Marketing plans signed off with regional marketing managers.
- Strategic account plans created and maintained with the strategic accounts team.
- Cross-group cadence and regular alignment.
Requirements
- Sales Tools Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools (e.g., Salesforce) for sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Data Analytics: Ability to leverage data analytics tools to monitor and predict ARR trends.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the cybersecurity industry's recurring revenue models and how to optimize ARR within that context.
- Partner Understanding: Good understanding of strategic partners' requirements and the ability to share them with the Growth Manager.
- Leadership Skills: Possess leadership skills in grooming and developing talent.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated track record in sales and business development, with a desire to perform in a competitive industry.
- Strategic Thinking: Solid functional, analytical, and strategic thinking with project management skills.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills.
