Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in direct enterprise sales with a strong track record of closing new business, and proven expertise in prospecting, executive mapping, and winning new logos in Japan. They should have a strong background in Product Management, Analytics, or SaaS, a deep understanding of the Japanese market and business culture, and the ability to develop and execute multichannel sales strategies. Additionally, candidates should be technically adept and comfortable engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, consistently succeeding in closing six-figure deals.

Responsibilities

The Country Lead will be responsible for growing Mixpanel's business within Japan, developing and managing relationships with current customers to expand existing business, collaborating with current partners, including resellers, to drive demand for the products, identifying and establishing partnerships with new resellers, contributing to the development of marketing and messaging strategy for the region, prospecting, progressing, and closing new business in the region, and forecasting the business in Japan. They will also collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Services, Marketing, and Inside Sales to achieve their goals, building a local delivery support structure through the partner ecosystem.
