Requirements

  • High School diploma or CAEC/GED, or must pass a company comprehension assessment
  • Reliable transportation to and from work (remote location not accessible by bus)
  • Willing to work weekends
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, and over mobile radio devices
  • Polite and friendly with a customer service orientation
  • Knowledge of automotive components (considered an asset)
  • Strong work ethic, uses time efficiently
  • Able to work with minimal supervision/general oversight
  • No experience necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part environment considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers in a retail environment
  • Perform daily cash-out reports
  • Prepare invoices for purchased vehicles
  • Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities and unethical activity
  • Keep the work area clean
  • Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Performs other duties as they might be assigned
