  • Understanding of lifecycle cost estimating
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required); Master's Degree (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical cost inputs and recommendations in support of classified and unclassified cost reporting to senior leadership, in accordance with the Army Cost Analysis Manual and Army CARD Guidance
  • Develop, review, and maintain cost estimates in compliance with DoD 5000 series acquisition guidance and program lifecycle requirements
  • Create and manage cost models using ACEIT to support milestone decisions, re-baselining activities, and programmatic updates
  • Prepare, update, and maintain Cost Analysis Requirements Descriptions (CARDs) and CARD-like documents to support ACAT I program needs
  • Conduct cost studies to support strategic planning and acquisition documentation
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups, and milestone planning meetings to provide cost-related insights and analysis
  • Support both classified and unclassified cost analysis activities, including attendance at Secret meetings as required
