Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and at least two years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer-facing role. They should have working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with experience leading and documenting proof of concepts and building technical and deal champions. Furthermore, experience with security and compliance frameworks like PII, PCI, and HIPAA is required, as is a strong technical background in areas such as the SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
The Solutions Engineer will serve as the technical lead in the sales process, partnering with Customer Success & Professional Services to drive expansion and land new customers. They will translate complex requirements into actionable technology solutions, conduct customer-facing presentations, demonstrations, and white-boarding sessions, and partner with account executives to develop and present compelling technical proposals. The role involves establishing trust with prospects, building champions to win deals, acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams, maintaining deep knowledge of products and industry trends, and leading or supporting technical responses to security questionnaires and RFPs. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will travel as required to support customer meetings and industry events.
