  • Expertise in developing integration plans, overseeing Day 1 readiness, and value realization
  • Proficiency in tracking post-acquisition performance and conducting post-mortems
  • Capacity to build M&A playbooks, processes, and contribute to team scaling

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete deal lifecycle from initial outreach through closing, as primary point of contact
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment recommendations
  • Develop comprehensive investment theses and present to executive leadership and board
  • Negotiate term sheets, LOIs, and definitive agreements alongside legal counsel
  • Drive deal timelines and manage multiple simultaneous transactions
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies to identify targets enhancing capabilities
  • Build relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and potential targets
  • Conduct market assessments for white space opportunities and build vs. buy decisions
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on technical capabilities and integration
  • Monitor competitive M&A and industry trends to inform strategy
  • Lead due diligence processes across all workstreams
  • Manage cross-functional teams during diligence and integration
  • Identify risks, synergies, and value opportunities with data-driven frameworks
  • Coordinate with external advisors (banks, accountants, legal)
  • Develop integration plans and oversee Day 1 readiness
  • Execute integration milestones and track value capture
  • Build scalable M&A playbooks, processes, and best practices
  • Track post-acquisition metrics and conduct post-mortems
  • Help build the corporate development function and evolve M&A strategy
