Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of overall work experience, including mandatory solid (at least 5 years) consulting experience in a primary strategy or management consulting firm
  • Additional experience in Small Business or Corporate Banks, Strategy or business Functions is a plus, as well as in primary players active in the B2B money movement space
  • Solid consulting skills and client engagement capabilities, including advanced client contact, public speaking skills, and advanced skills in using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Combination of regional and global experience desired; previous work experience across multiple key CISSEE countries (Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia) would be a differentiating factor
  • Strong track record of delivering complex strategy projects for large clients and leading strategy engagements end-to-end
  • Proficiency with Generative and Agentic AI in terms of trends, use cases, and personal use of the tools
  • Diplomatic skills to work in a multi-functional environment and ability to extract desired outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver consulting projects in the commercial and corporate banking space: resolve complex strategic problems, synthesize and manage complex project structures, manage, facilitate and implement consulting services, and meet client's business targets (assignment objectives, project scope, budget, paperwork, external consultants' and other vendors’ supervision, and project delivery)
  • If required, work on client site to design and project manage the implementation of consulting recommendations, marketing campaigns, product value propositions, product migrations, etc
  • Use Visa and external data to analyze client needs across CISSEE market and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with Visa’s key clients
  • Partner closely with Visa VCS function at both CISSEE and CEMEA levels in identifying synergies opportunities in go-to-market and offer bundling, as well as supporting VCS in structuring deals, pitches, and presentations for selected key clients
  • In coordination with Country Managers, Account Executives, and VCA geographic leads, develop plans for consulting activity in the sphere of Commercial and Corporate banking
  • Develop project pitches and secure new consulting assignments with clients, as well as re-engagement opportunities via a consultative sales approach in assigned markets
  • Work closely with other Visa groups, including Sales, VAS, Marketing, etc., to ensure a seamless consulting experience
  • Support Visa’s business development, VCA, and VCS teams in developing client partnership pitches and proposals
  • Lead knowledge sharing initiatives with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practices, source analytical or other solutions, and bring a global perspective to local clients
  • Become a CISSEE point of reference for topics related to Corporate and Commercial banking advisory
  • Where appropriate, work with designated practice areas globally to incorporate best practices, source analytical or other services, and leverage global consulting solutions
