Requirements

  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in Boston, MA
  • Reports to the Area Vice President
  • Ability to lead, manage, and coach a team of Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, and PCIO Territory Managers
  • Experience negotiating contracts with hospital customers
  • Knowledge of company policies for team management
  • Focus on interventional cardiologists and full Coronary portfolio (atherectomy, carotid, PCIO, DES, base coronary, and future products)
  • Skills in hiring, coaching, developing, and performance management of direct reports
  • Proficiency in planning, forecasting, expense management, reporting, sales process adherence, and interacting with sales analytics
  • Ability to maintain adherence to company sales management and reporting systems
  • Capability to measure and report feedback on sales strategies and marketing programs

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives
  • Formulate sales strategies for markets within the assigned geography to attain revenue goals
  • Work with Account Managers to identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential, achieving quarterly/annual sales objectives
  • Drive profitable growth across the portfolio with strong sales execution to achieve sales targets
  • Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, Clinical Specialists, and PCIO Territory Managers
  • Deliver business results through effective coaching, motivation, and performance management
  • Increase market share within the assigned region across the full product portfolio and influence stakeholders in hospital settings
  • Drive contracting efforts to gain favorable positions in accounts within the region
  • Develop the commercial sales strategy in alignment with the marketing strategy for best-in-class sales execution
  • Ensure team manages customer relationships through targeting, onboarding, contracting, clinical support, pricing management, KOL management, and conflict resolution
  • Handle planning, forecasting, expense management, reporting, and sales process adherence
