Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Creative Writing, Communication or Journalism
  • 3-5 years of content writing experience in business journalism, content marketing, or communications
  • Previous experience in writing for healthcare/health insurance industry or writing marketing content for a tech company (added advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Create campaigns, short- and long-form thought leadership and recruiting content including trends/best practice articles, blogs, whitepapers, applicant success stories/case studies, emails, social posts, video scripts, and other assets aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities and goals with measurable results to elevate the Carelon brand internally and externally
  • Research and identify interesting story angles (combining online sources, interviews and studies) aligned to audience need and interests
  • Interview leaders, subject matter experts and other sources to craft analytical, accessible content and customize content for internal and external channels
  • Coordinate with design teams to illustrate articles
  • Identify organization’s needs and gaps in content and recommend new topics
  • Create inspiring internal messaging to highlight employee successes and drive engagement
  • Act as custodian of the corporate brand – guidelines, style guide, templates – and ensure that all assets are compliant with the brand guide
