Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in transportation logistics, preferably in livehaul or agricultural sectors
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations and vehicle lifecycle planning
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools, fleet tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Having a Class 1 license is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and adjust daily/weekly livehaul schedules to meet plant processing volumes and animal welfare standards
  • Communicate with drivers and dispatch to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
  • Track and report livehaul performance metrics including delays, incidents, and compliance issues
  • Monitor fleet availability, utilization, and maintenance schedules
  • Support planning for fleet replacements, upgrades, and reassignments
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle hours, mileage, and service history
  • Coordinate with maintenance and repair teams to minimize downtime and ensure readiness
  • Assist in developing and implementing transportation SOPs and contingency plans
  • Support data collection and reporting for CER packages and operational reviews
  • Liaise with internal departments including safety and planning
