Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or controller capacity within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management principles
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and partner cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
  • Partner with leadership to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses that support strategic decision-making
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and margins to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Coordinate and lead annual audits and tax filings with external auditors
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
  • Provide insightful financial reports and KPI dashboards to senior leadership
  • Assist in ERP implementation and optimization for improved financial transparency and operational performance
