Requirements

Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (ASC 606 & 842 experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to lead and manage teams, delegate effectively, and motivate others
Strong analytical skills to identify trends, analyze financial data, and make informed decisions
Ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of management experience (preferred: 12+ years with experience scaling large teams)
Active CPA license

Responsibilities

Handle the review of all accounting treatment and standards, oversee payroll, establish internal controls, and lead the relationship with external auditors
Identify, assess, and prioritize compliance and operational risks, developing mitigation strategies
Manage cash flow forecasting and establish financial guidelines and best practices
Review balance sheet reconciliations, manage equity-related transactions, and oversee the consolidation of financial statements
Set reporting timelines, manage vendor and partner relationships, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency within the team and wider organization
Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship and guidance
