Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL management, AR/AP, payroll, and inventory accounting
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Partner with FP&A to provide insights into performance trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and credit facilities
  • Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to support growth and scalability
  • Oversee tax filings, audits, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Mentor and develop a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Supply Chain to align financial strategy with business objectives
