Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of in-house contracts management experience, including experience with a SaaS or other technology company, and a passion for commercial contracting demonstrated through reviewing, negotiating, and drafting legal terms in a variety of commercial contracts. They should also have experience working with AI vendors, particularly in the context of SaaS products, and an understanding of the legal, security, and compliance considerations involved, including familiarity with AI contracting distinctions.

Responsibilities

The Contracts Manager, Procurement will manage the legal team’s approach to vendor contracting, including reviewing and negotiating legal terms in vendor agreements for various products and services, building and maintaining contracting playbooks, templates, and legal process wikis to scale the legal function, and developing data-driven insights regarding the company’s commercial contracting operations. They will also collaborate with cross-functional partners, provide support for procure-to-pay process optimization, respond to questions regarding commercial contracts, and help enhance projects to increase the efficiency of commercial legal support.
