Requirements

  • Ability to identify and assess complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Adherence to strategic direction set by senior management for establishing near-term goals
  • Interaction with senior management, internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, contractors, and subcontractors, including acceptance of alternate approaches

  • Management of large to medium-sized teams and/or work efforts (if in individual contributor role)
  • Expertise in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts, NDAs, and procurement-related documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements
  • Ability to provide advisory support to procurement and business teams, including driving creation, standardization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of standard contract templates and procedures for complex buyside deals aligned with changing laws and company policies
  • Specialized subject-matter expertise in support area to address potential risks or issues
  • Understanding of company's approval processes, Code of Business Ethics (COBE), Data Privacy, Information Security, Anti-Corruption Laws, and related policies

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to Procurement and Business teams, including drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and execution of contracts, NDAs, and other procurement-related documents
  • Collaborate with other functional leads and sub-leads to strategize, develop additional capabilities, and create efficiencies within the team
  • Manage the team and performance-related aspects (not applicable to individual contributors), including execution of performance management for direct reportees and sub-leads, rewarding high performance, correcting deficiencies, managing conflict, and achieving required team utilization levels
  • Supervise management of SharePoint and communication records, ensure creation of checklists and other process documents
  • Regularly conduct audits of work done by team members, provide reports to leadership on observed gaps, and ensure gaps are closed by respective team members
  • Ensure all stakeholders are timely engaged and informed on relevant approval processes
  • Apply understanding of Code of Business Ethics (COBE), Data Privacy, Information Security, Anti-Corruption Laws, and related policies to services
