Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience recruiting within a manufacturing environment, ideally focused on Maintenance, Facilities, or Equipment Technician roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-volume requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as SmartRecruiters, Taleo, or similar platforms
  • Skilled in sourcing candidates using multiple recruiting tools and platforms, including Boolean search and AI-driven sourcing technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in process execution
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract highly qualified technician and maintenance candidates
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of unique requisitions across multiple manufacturing disciplines
  • Conduct detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to define job requirements, hiring criteria, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Create and implement sourcing plans to attract talent using a variety of platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and industry-specific networks)
  • Source, screen, and present a strong and diverse pool of qualified candidates for each open role
  • Conduct phone interviews to assess experience, technical capabilities, and cultural fit
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, preparing offer recommendations, and coordinating pre-employment screening
  • Maintain strong relationships with hiring leaders, providing regular updates, market insights, and recommendations to optimize search strategies
  • Stay current on best practices in recruiting, sourcing technology, and labor market trends related to manufacturing and technical talent
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the business, growth objectives, and workforce challenges to proactively identify talent needs
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement
