Requirements

Candidates must possess product acumen in the development of multiplayer shooters, especially live service games. Demonstrated ability to partner with creative and technical leaders and staff is required, along with being results-oriented, focused, and composed under pressure. The role requires the ability to self-motivate and motivate others, experience with complex, multi-disciplinary content pipelines, hard project management skills, and data-oriented approaches to development plans. Proficiency with Jira, Excel, Confluence, and other app suites is also necessary. Prior experience in the development of AAA live service games and a deep understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies are considered nice-to-have skills.

Responsibilities

The Contract Destiny Producer will help drive the production of future releases for Destiny 2, ensuring great player experiences are shipped on time and within budget. This includes maintaining a well-understood pipeline and schedule for the product area, and driving regular learnings and evaluation of in-development content to measure and ensure player experience. The producer will help drive milestone goals and schedules for content teams in conjunction with the wider Production Team and game development timeline. Key duties involve facilitating communication and collaboration, managing dependencies across multiple disciplines, teams, and stakeholders, and iterating on production processes to continuously improve velocity, collaboration, and visibility. The role requires working within a dedicated production team, using independent judgment when necessary, and ensuring studio compliance with company policies and procedures.
