Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in implementing SEO strategies with measurable results
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO and/or AEO / GEO

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement AEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility and market presence of the brand and generate demand
  • Review existing SEO implementations (audit backlinks, remove toxic links) and initiate pilots with local marketers to enhance current content in line with global guidelines or even co-create FAQ-driven, AI-friendly content (guides, comparisons, short answers)
  • Identify gaps and suggest improvements for better performance
  • Conduct comparative analysis of historical and current data to demonstrate the impact of implemented strategies
  • Advise best practices for URL taxonomy and work with Web Operations team to set up guardrails for regional content
  • Use tools to benchmark Thermo Fisher against competitors and monitor competitors’ rankings
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends in AEO and GEO and conversational AI to maintain competitive advantage
