Requirements

Proven track record of success in implementing SEO strategies with measurable results
Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO and/or AEO / GEO
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing or related field
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., AEM)
Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) evaluation metrics
Ability to work with analyst to articulate requirement for reporting and analysis
Knowledge of A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and UX principles

Responsibilities

Recommend and implement AEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility and market presence of the brand and generate demand
Review existing SEO implementations (audit backlinks, remove toxic links) and initiate pilots with local marketers to enhance current content in line with global guidelines or even co-create FAQ-driven, AI-friendly content (guides, comparisons, short answers)
Identify gaps and suggest improvements for better performance
Conduct comparative analysis of historical and current data to demonstrate the impact of implemented strategies
Advise best practices for URL taxonomy and work with Web Operations team to set up guardrails for regional content
Use tools to benchmark Thermo Fisher against competitors and monitor competitors’ rankings
Identify and leverage emerging trends in AEO and GEO and conversational AI to maintain competitive advantage
