Requirements

4-8+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, ecommerce, or operations-focused companies
Ability to write about technical topics (like EDI and ERPs) in an accessible and entertaining way
Understanding of the consumer brand/DTC/retail ecosystem and operational challenges
Comfort writing long-form educational content and punchy social copy
Portfolio demonstrating range in thought leadership, educational content, and engaging social posts
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
Data-driven and able to analyze content performance and iterate

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a content calendar focused on EDI, purchase orders, inventory management, omnichannel operations, and scaling consumer brands
Create 2x the volume and 2x the quality of current content output and expand content channels beyond LinkedIn, YouTube, and Substack to include Twitter, Threads, and potentially IG/TikTok
Write and edit compelling copy for LinkedIn, Substack, podcast show notes, webinar content, and educational resources
Develop content series like digital AMAs and educational webinars
Coordinate with Sam on podcast content strategy for "Commerce is Chaos."
Work with the paid media team to identify high-performing organic content for paid amplification
Create educational thought leadership on LinkedIn
Create webinar content and presentations on complex topics
Write Substack newsletters covering industry trends, founder resources, and operational best practices
Write podcast show notes, promotional content, and spin-off assets from "Commerce is Chaos" episodes
Create digital AMA content addressing real operational problems
Develop case studies and customer success stories
Develop educational resources and guides
Audit existing content and develop a comprehensive content calendar
Establish voice/tone guidelines
Maintain a consistent weekly publishing cadence
