Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to write clear and engaging content for a variety of digital products and platforms
  • Strong experience as a UX Writer/Content Designer
  • Experience writing for a US audience, or localising content
  • Ability to balance key user needs with business objectives
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles and how content influences user behaviour and interaction
  • Ability to justify copy decisions with user research, competitor research or UX best practices
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively individually and as part of squads
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with several teams simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Knowledge of when AI can and can’t help produce best work
  • Hands-on experience in content design or working in UX (not mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting or journalism)

Responsibilities

  • Own content end-to-end for experience area(s) across Depop apps (iOS & Android) and Depop.com
  • Partner closely with designers, researchers, product managers and engineers to ship impactful work
  • Use feedback and user testing results to iterate effectively
  • Elevate content quality, defining what good looks like with teams and providing guidance to non-writers
  • Work with legal and regulatory teams to ensure content is compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Contribute to the evolution of content standards at Depop, including writing guidelines and content design best practices
