Responsibilities

The Container Shop Welder will perform repairs and maintenance on containers and roll-off boxes, including welding steel and aluminum components, fabricating steel components using a brake and shear, cutting steel with a plasma cutter or torch, fabricating components for hoppers, containers, and compactors, installing lids and wheels, painting repaired containers, following safety policies and procedures, completing required paperwork, installing decals, and referring complex repairs to the Supervisor.
