Requirements

Expertise in finance métiers (comptabilité, contrôle de gestion, consolidation, contrôle interne)
Experience in operational support to finance functions of French or international groups (listed or not)
Skills in accounting processes (transactional and closing) and/or management processes (analytical accounting, reporting, budgeting)
Ability to work in a team of experienced consultants on client projects
Availability for full-time employment, with openness to telework
Location in or willingness to work in Lyon

Responsibilities

Accompany internal finance teams during closing processes and/or budget preparation
Externalize preparation of consolidated accounts
Manage externalized projects for implementing reporting/consolidation systems (EPM)
Identify and document accounting impacts of exceptional situations (e.g., cyberattack, cost reduction plans)
Optimize accounting processes (transactional and closing), management processes (internal reporting, budgeting), and finance function organization
Overhaul analytical accounting, especially during new ERP implementation
Design target reporting (scorecards, cockpits, dashboards under BI)
Support deployment of tools (EPM/CPM)
Overhaul budgeting processes (budget, 5-year plan, rolling forecast)
Structure accounting internal control
Identify and document impacts of accounting standards changes (new standards, IFRS conversion)
Handle accounting for complex operations (purchase price allocation, put on minorities, financial instruments, factoring contracts)
Participate in producing financial statements for mergers or carve-outs
Support IPO processes (pre-IPO diagnostics, financial information preparation, proforma info, offering documents, project management)
Implement operational skills in accounting and management processes on client projects
Optimize closing processes to reduce deadlines, increase quality, and improve efficiency
Diffuse best practices for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Define financial, environmental, and operational rules and indicators, and deploy related tools
