Requirements

High Risk Work Licence (Intermediate): Successfully completed UETDRT0016 - Installing Transmission Structure Hardware or equivalent. OR Can perform any of the duties Transmission Structure Hardware Installer (Assisting Overhead Transmission Lines person/s to install Transmission Structure Hardware)
High Risk Work Licence (Advanced): Successfully completed Certificate II - Transmission Line Construction UET20422 OR Can perform Intermediate duties and any of the following: Operate brakes, winches and associated rigging equipment to position steel units. Assist overhead transmission lines person/s to string overhead transmission conductors
Enrolled with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that can deliver a High Risk Work Licence (NSW) specific to rigging and/or Certificate II Transmission Line Construction

Responsibilities

Assemble and install rigging gear, including ropes, cables, pulleys, and winches
Position structural steel and other heavy materials for transmission network infrastructure construction
Operate brakes, winches, and associated rigging equipment
Assist overhead transmission lines personnel with conductor stringing
