Proven record of successful project management
Documented experience in the electrical field / Electrical experience (a big plus)
Strong background in the construction field
Engineering degree (a plus)
Proficient use of technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
OSHA certifications (a big plus)

Responsibilities

Own projects from kickoff to completion
Work with Sales/Engineering to create a 100% Project Packet to manage the job
Develop/Adjust Overall Project Schedule after kickoff meeting based on procurement lead times, equipment availability, engineering/permitting requirements, geography of assigned projects, and requirements for engineered drawings
Manage permitting process, including determining permitting needs, managing internal and external resources for documentation, and completing the permitting process
Develop Overall Construction Schedule, including creating task-level schedules, coordinating order of operations/completion, equipment rentals, subcontractors, material purchasing, mobilization dates, outage dates, and construction schedule with the customer
Ensure that no work is performed outside the scope of the contract without approval of the Sales Account Manager
Notify the Account Manager of issues that could lead to the project not being completed at or under budget and/or with 100% customer satisfaction
Seek/Strive to develop processes that streamline operations and cut costs
Lead project-specific customer communication and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Lead/manage overall project documentation process, including design-level documentation, review of Sales/Engineering provided project packet for accuracy and thoroughness, site visit notes, procurements, rentals, subcontracting, and daily construction-level documentation
Review for sufficient documentation of daily construction activities from on-site crews
Conduct site visits throughout the project and construction to ensure the customer is kept in the loop, the site is construction-ready, construction is on schedule, the construction plan is being adhered to, the construction site is clean and organized at all times, and all safety standards are upheld
Perform a post-construction inspection
