Candidates must have five years of work experience in management, project development, and implementation of Design-Build construction. A solid background in managing commercial construction projects is required, along with the ability to manage a multimillion-dollar project portfolio and a diverse team. A thorough knowledge of all construction-related trades and basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and R.S. Means is also necessary.
The Construction Project Manager will oversee daily activities of Site Superintendents and is responsible for the entire project. They will define project purpose and scope, calculate required resources, establish standards, allocate resources, and coordinate staff and subcontractors. The manager will contribute construction information to strategic plans, implement production and quality standards, and resolve problems. They will also select, train, and assess employees, oversee preparation of daily logs and reports, and prepare accurate monthly project status reports.
