Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and a minimum of three years of experience in water/wastewater heavy civil project management. A valid driver's license is required, and NASSCO PACP certification, a Water Distribution Operator license in Florida, and 40-hour OSHA training are considered advantageous.
The Construction Inspector will serve as the on-site liaison with clients and the community, conduct field inspections, coordinate with contractors, maintain excellent client relations, record daily inspection reports, monitor construction operations for compliance with permits, organize and maintain construction documentation, develop a detailed understanding of plans and specifications, assist the Project Manager with contract requirements, review shop drawings, address field changes, lead or assist with Requests for Information responses, help with Engineer's responses to contract claims, identify and mitigate project risks, review construction CPM schedules, attend project meetings, maintain a safe working environment, and participate in seminars and training courses.
