High School or GED - Required
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word - Required
3 Years of Commercial Construction experience including, but not limited to, reading/interpreting blueprints and project documents, framing, interior build-outs, and concrete - Required
Strong knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations - Required
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training - Required
Experience in Project leadership or Supervisory role - Preferred
Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction contract documents to include but not limited to drawings, specifications, subcontracts, purchase orders, safety guidelines, operations & maintenance manuals, procedure manuals, etc
Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build teams
Ability to effectively plan and organize work; manage multiple projects, and work independently while completing projects as scheduled
Ability to think strategically

Responsibilities

Assists the Construction Superintendent in managing, planning, organizing, and completing new and existing construction projects
Works closely with contractors, engineers, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure quality and timeline objectives are met and are within budget
Assists with overseeing and maintaining schedules, inspections, quality standards, and job site safety
Ensures the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining high quality standards
Serves as liaison between engineers, contractors, vendors, and Architect firms
Develops, implements, and maintains detailed project schedules with input from contractors (general and sub-contractors) and vendors; develops and implements efficient job site layout
Manages all day to day field operations of contractors (general and sub), construction sites, and vendors to effectively execute the project
Inspects the construction sites regularly to assess progress; coordinates and oversees all regulatory and design team inspections
Oversees construction teams and subcontractors to ensure safety guidelines are followed and are in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policy; supervises sub-contractors to ensure adherence to subcontract terms
Works with contractors, vendors, and design team to improve construction methods and resolve any challenges and obstacles that may arise during construction
Assists Project Manager in the preparation of project status reports; maintains accurate records of work performed, reports and site documentation
Procures tools and materials needed for each phase of the construction project to ensure availability according to the work schedule
Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times, consistently demonstrating Credit Union RISE Values and adhering to the Code of Ethics
Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members
Complies with all applicable State, Federal and NCUA rules and regulations and all Credit Union policies and procedures
Follow all physical and online security procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of all member information
Completes all required regulatory and compliance training and maintains required knowledge of Credit Union products and services
Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
