Candidates should possess proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or construction documentation, and demonstrate the ability to read and interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are required, along with familiarity with construction terms, permit processes, and building departments, with NYC DOB familiarity being a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and PDF editing tools is also necessary, as well as self-motivation and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
The Construction Documentation & Data Entry Specialist will accurately fill out forms and official documents related to building permits and compliance, input data from clients and construction documents into digital systems, interpret architectural, plumbing, electrical, and structural plans to extract relevant information, communicate with clients to gather necessary information and clarify document requirements, and maintain organized digital files and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
