Valid Class 1 license
Good driving record and provide an up-to-date copy
1 to 2 years of experience driving 53' trucks
In good physical condition (manual handling required)
Ability to lift weights up to 50lbs
Class 1 driving experience
Lift truck experience
High School Diploma
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Good knowledge of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work independently
Autonomous, resourceful, responsible, and professional

Responsibilities

Execute deliveries to customers
Verify unloading of truck
Perform manual handling of products
Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading
Ensure customer satisfaction with quality service
Maintain a positive attitude toward customers
Keep vehicle clean
Complete daily inspection/safety reports
Deliver and unload material to customers
Ensure required legal documents are up to date and in the vehicle
Advise supervisor or Branch Manager of discrepancies with deliveries
Advise Supervisor or Branch Manager of unsafe working conditions
Check loads for accuracy prior to leaving the branch
Unload and load shipments manually and/or with lift truck
Comply with load weight and secure load restrictions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized truck
Complete safety training and follow policies/procedures
Maintain friendly rapport with customers
Assist in warehouse with loading/unloading as needed
Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately
Assist in warehouse with serving customers when needed
