Requirements

2 years of relevant work experience (typically 2-5 years)
Forklift experience
Cycle counting experience
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Strong attention to detail for written documentation
Ability to follow written directions
Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
Reading, writing, and understanding of English language
Ability to stand/walk for considerable lengths of time, bend to floor level, and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards
Ability to work well in a team environment and as an individual contributor
Impeccable attendance
Respectful and team contributor (cleanliness and communication)
Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime
Previous distribution experience preferred
Prior experience with handling electronic components beneficial
Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks with little autonomy and no discretion to vary from established procedures
Ability to work in an ESD safe environment (wearing heel straps, wristbands, and smock)

Responsibilities

Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
Extract items from staging rack and count items to verify packaging and shipping
Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencil identifying shipping information on cartons
Perform inbound inspection of electronic components using basic inspection equipment (microscope), counting and picking/packing equipment
Use Excel-based inspection checklists to enter results of visual inspection
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
Route items to proper departments
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications
Perform data entry on PC to process orders and log in/out inventory
Create shipping labels for outbound shipments
Review compliance and shipping documents
Verify records on all incoming and outgoing shipments
Accept additional responsibilities as assigned
