Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in the payments or compliance industry, with knowledge of merchant processing behaviors, and a strong understanding of global enhanced due diligence, AML, CTF, and sanction screening procedures. Familiarity with KYC/B information and verification processes is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Compliance (GSEDD) Analyst II at GoFundMe, you will conduct in-depth enhanced due diligence reviews focusing on anti-money laundering, sanctions, and watchlist screening, evaluating fundraiser and account attributes for unusual activity, and determining identified risks. You will also perform enhanced due diligence on organizations, including identity verification and watchlist management, collect and analyze information on their governance and financial performance, and work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure fundraisers are legitimate. Additionally, you will manage compliance escalations, report findings, partner with Payment Service Providers, and collaborate with GoFundMe’s Go To Market & Communications teams, as well as assist the Trust & Safety team during global crises by setting up monitoring protocols and providing support to affected customers.
