Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson)
  • Knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, and other relevant labor laws
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus
  • Availability for 4x a week onsite in San Jose, CA

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance during hiring and promotion processes
  • Maintain and update compensation databases and tools for accuracy and usability
  • Analyze job roles, salary data, and compensation structures to support pay decisions and strategy
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to evaluate compensation trends and competitiveness
  • Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit increases and bonus allocations
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on compensation metrics and insights
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to inform strategy
