Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, or Rehabilitation Counseling
OR Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution
OR Four years of qualifying work experience in a related human services field (e.g., case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation), or a combination of education and experience equaling four years

Responsibilities

Deliver community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clients, families, and stakeholders
Apply evidence-based techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed strategies
Facilitate behavioral interventions using interpersonal and group dynamics, operant conditioning, and cognitive processing
Coordinate care with other service providers including physicians, therapists, schools, and agencies
Facilitate and prepare PSR group sessions aligned with treatment plan goals
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services provided
Participate in team-based care and support coordination with case managers, therapists, and staff
Build positive relationships with clients, families, teachers, counselors, and key stakeholders
Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities
Provide ACT, ACT TAY, or IMPART services if applicable
