Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, or Rehabilitation Counseling
OR Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution
OR Four years of qualifying work experience in a related human services field (e.g., case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation)

Responsibilities

Provide individualized, community-based mental health services that empower clients to build skills, strengthen support systems, and progress toward personal goals
Collaborate with clients, families, and support networks to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based interventions using approaches such as motivational interviewing, trauma-informed strategies, positive reinforcement, CBT- and DBT-based skills, and behavioral techniques
Coordinate care and maintain strong partnerships with primary care providers, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations
Maintain accurate, timely documentation that reflects client progress and meets organizational standards
Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and staff education activities
Contribute to quality improvement processes through data collection, analysis, and reporting
Foster strong, respectful working relationships with clients, families, teachers, counselors, and other professionals
Prepare for and facilitate PSR group sessions, ensuring alignment with treatment plan goals
Perform additional duties or responsibilities as assigned
