Requirements

8+ years of solid professional work experience (e.g., retail, restaurants, hospitality, administrative roles, department managers, office management, operations)
Developed skills in areas such as customer service, administration, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, insurance, budgets, financials, legal matters, vendor management (helpful but not required)
Positive, motivated, customer-centric attitude
Ability to take extreme ownership of tasks
Team player, coachable, highly organized, accountable, and a fantastic multi-tasker
Ability to attend or run evening meetings (usually 30-40 per year)
High-level organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience and knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to catch on to other business software
Willingness to spend significant time in the office during the first 6 months
Availability for after-hour emergencies

Responsibilities

Engage with board members and homeowners in your community
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of associations
Plan for and facilitate association board meetings and annual meetings
Handle vendor relations, including the bidding and project management process
Consult with other departments in support of your communities
Manage risk, insurance, and litigation support
Prepare budgets and manage the finances of the associations
Be available for after-hour emergencies
Complete additional tasks as necessary
Act as a liaison between HOA’s board of directors, homeowners, and vendors
Serve as a customer service champion and manage vendor relationships while operating your portfolio of communities
