Responsibilities

  • Write compelling stories about Astranis’s people, missions, and technology for multiple formats: blog posts, press notes, social threads, scripts, and speeches
  • Help shape the company’s voice and tone across earned and owned channels
  • Identify new media opportunities: podcasts, newsletters, influencers, YouTubers, and emerging platforms that align with Astranis’s mission
  • Lead traditional PR efforts (press outreach, interview prep, media monitoring) while experimenting with new ways to earn attention
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Sales people, and Marketers to translate complex technical updates and data into human, interesting stories
  • Track what’s working in culture and media, and bring that thinking into Astranis’s storytelling
  • Oversee product launch, company wins, and event-related communications
  • Work with an agency / contractors to amplify our messages
  • Monitor, measure, and report comms performance
