- Degree in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in strategic serial purchasing
- Confident negotiation in English
- Experience in coordinating change management
- Knowledge of IATF standards
- Familiarity with PPAP process
- Analytical skills, solution-focused and creative approach
- Independent and results-oriented work style
- Advantage: Experience in purchasing aluminum parts and regional/global responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the European purchasing organization
- Provide regional support for serial products' parts
- Conduct competitive tenders, price negotiations, and conclude contracts and framework agreements
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Coordinate tasks related to change management
- Participate in supplier capacity management
- Collaborate with the global purchasing organization and other BW plants' purchasing
- Participate in solving supplier problems in cooperation with other departments
