Requirements

  • Studying for a degree in Business and Management, Politics, Law, English studies or Economics
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa)
  • Must be a British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Capable of achieving required medical and national security clearance, including HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Commercial team across MBDA’s product range, maintaining and improving business aspects
  • Negotiate contracts within the UK and handle formal customer liaison to contribute to business objectives
  • Support tendering and manage commercial and contractual elements of UK business
  • Work on winning new work and act as key point of contact for contract information on existing contracts
  • Participate in the delivery chain to ensure MBDA meets contractual obligations to customers
  • Collaborate with other departments and gain understanding of MBDA business and Commercial’s role
  • Potentially work in different areas of the Commercial department
  • Develop skills through practical training in: understanding contract agreement and management; MBDA bidding processes including constructing and pricing proposals; building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders; presenting and communicating in forums; analysing and solving business challenges to influence decisions (with team support and mentorship)
