Requirements

  • Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in marketing, brand, analytics, supply chain, or other related area

Responsibilities

  • Develops, communicates, and implements new concepts and plans towards increasing program value
  • Assists with internal and external events and meetings
  • Represents Commercial within cross-functional teams tasked with development and deployment of key initiatives and innovations
  • Collaborates with regional teams to build programs that resonate within each market
  • Works closely with current Program vendors to ensure program implementation, ongoing performance, and success; manages day-to-day relationships with applicable vendors to efficiently meet strategic Plan goals and objectives
  • Coordinates the collection of data for and prepares the department’s operating budget; works with accounting and organization personnel to process and manage expense budget; monitors expenses and prepares reports
  • Develops a more customer-focused approach to Brand Consumer Relations and owns oversight over consumer inquiries
  • Creates new and improved communications to brand consumers
  • Resolves consumer complaints on marathonfuel.com and arco.com as well as any corporate complaints from web-based inquiries
  • Owns decisions around how to properly resolve issues with consumers, including working with PAR on providing loyalty benefits and prepaid card benefits to improve brand reputation
  • Analyzes consumer relations trends including source, counts, categories, and types; uses this information to provide insight to other Brand Program Specialists
