Candidates should have 1-3+ years of quota carrying sales experience, primarily selling to Growth accounts, with a proven record of consistently exceeding quotas. Experience in pipeline generation with a weekly metrics-based approach and SaaS-based sales experience are required. A strong understanding of the Martech industry and the role of data in driving customer engagement, along with familiarity with value-based sales methodologies like Force Management and MEDPICC, is also necessary.
The Commercial Account Executive will drive opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to close and post-sales. Responsibilities include employing a value-oriented sales methodology focused on customer data and marketing activation, building growth and adoption of Segment within the Growth business segment, and owning the cross-functional team from Pre-Sales through Customer Success. The role involves driving pipeline generation for expansion opportunities and new target accounts, leading compelling product presentations, providing accurate forecasts, and leveraging internal teams to navigate complex sales cycles, with a specific focus on pre-committed ARR.
