Responsibilities

  • Operate collating equipment: organize job tickets by components, load rolls of product onto collator or place stock in bins, collate components into sets per job requirements, jog sets into stacks, record job number on production sheet, calculate quantity of sets per job, re-collate sets for reruns, place stacks on rails or skids, troubleshoot collator equipment (90%)
  • Operate Polar Cutters
  • Operate industrial power equipment (e.g., forklift or pallet jack)
  • Collate checkbook or multiple form components in correct order for further processing
  • Ensure accuracy of items printed on components; ensure numbers match ply to ply if applicable
  • Insert carbon when required
  • Clean and restock workstation as necessary (5%)
  • Perform other job duties as assigned (5%)
  • Make decisions on stock specifications, prioritize job sequence, determine equipment working order, and troubleshoot issues including collating equipment problems
