Strong presentation skills, including public speaking and experience with leadership and webinars, are also necessary. Risk Adjustment knowledge and familiarity with coding guidelines are essential. Candidates must reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, CRC - Certified Risk Adjustment Coder certification, experience interacting with healthcare providers, strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and a valid Driver's license with reliable transportation.
The Coding Educator 2 will identify opportunities to enhance provider documentation and develop tailored education plans for assigned providers. Responsibilities include arranging educational sessions focused on quality of care and documentation improvements, and identifying educational needs based on reports. The role involves preparing comprehensive reports and presentations on coding quality trends, risk areas, and educational outcomes using data visualization techniques. Additionally, the educator will provide onsite education, collaborate with other market provider-facing roles, and utilize data analytics tools to assess coding quality and monitor compliance. Analyzing coding audit results to develop data-driven educational materials and participating in cross-functional teams to improve documentation, data integrity, and workflow processes are also key duties.
