High School diploma or GED equivalent
CNC machining experience (Aerospace experience is a plus)
Familiarity with 3, 4-Axis or similar CNC multi-axis machines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and operation sheets
Experience with precision measuring tools
Mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate CNC turning machines to machine aerospace tubes, ducts and details
Perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling
Translate instructions into computer commands for the machines to perform the correct function
Perform offset adjustments
Prepare and load raw material and parts
Prepare a test run
Set machines to complete full cycles
Supervise machines while cycling, making any necessary adjustments
Inspect and measure finished products using calipers, height gages, micrometers
