Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certification from an accredited technical college a plus
Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible milling experience, aerospace industry a plus
Possess basic math and geometry knowledge with elementary knowledge of engineering principles helpful
Be able to read blueprints, follow work orders, and verbal instructions
U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)

Responsibilities

Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium
Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set-up, using tools such as gauges, calipers, indicators, and micrometers
Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Set up and troubleshoot 5-axis machines for large complex parts
Other duties as assigned
Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies
