Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, with over 2 years of professional experience in a CloudOps/DevOps role. Required skills include experience supporting, maintaining, and developing on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and IBM, proficiency in automation and software development with languages such as Python, and prior experience with client-facing production services and incident management. A track record of learning new technologies, hands-on CI/CD pipeline development, practical knowledge of infrastructure and application performance monitoring, understanding of core networking concepts, experience with enterprise databases, practical technical knowledge in Linux and Windows servers, experience in container application implementation and troubleshooting, and familiarity with service monitoring and log management tools are also necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and B2 level English proficiency are also required.
The Cloud Operations Engineer II will work with global, multidisciplinary teams to support and implement new features for Incentive Compensation Management products. Responsibilities include contributing to the technical work on supporting services, performing incident management duties to ensure service quality, working on infrastructure service requests for customer-focused resolution and improvements, continually monitoring and tuning application infrastructure and services for optimal performance, availability, and resource utilization, and providing technical solutions to automate processes or functions to improve business operations. The role also involves supporting releases and enhancements.
