Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience, with at least 3 years of experience in deploying, managing, and automating cloud-based resources. A minimum of 2 years of experience in operating cloud and data center environments is required, and industry certifications like MCSE or CISSP are considered a strong asset. Experience in computer systems administration, particularly in an operations role, and a strong understanding of public cloud computing operations and management are essential.
The Cloud Systems Administrator will provide technical leadership and expert support for corporate cloud-based (Azure) infrastructure and applications, focusing on monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing cloud compute endpoints and applications. Responsibilities include managing SaaS platform onboarding/offboarding, supporting cloud-based/SaaS applications with SSO configuration and user access troubleshooting, and managing the Lightspeed Development Cloud PC environment. The role also involves managing contractor/guest accounts, supporting Windows and Linux assets in the cloud, managing cost reporting and optimization, assisting the Platform Engineering team with MS Azure instances, evaluating and deploying Cloud PC solutions, and providing emergency and after-hours support, including on-call rotation.
