Requirements

  • Equivalent industry experience in channel sales/partner account manager/channel development roles within a software vendor
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in the software industry
  • Deep channel and field sales experience with understanding of cloud market business models
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and planning skills
  • Native-level Japanese with business-level English

Responsibilities

  • Perform territory analysis and planning for assigned region, identify potential top partners, build relationships with key decision-makers on partner side, and maintain regular/frequent contact with each partner based on priority
  • Collaborate with Acronis Cloud Distributor to drive joint activities for channel strengthening
  • Drive quarterly cloud revenue growth through assigned partners
  • Provide training on existing and new products to new and existing partners
  • Support new partners daily in business and technical development, equipping them with all necessary knowledge, resources, and tools to guide onboarding and engagement phases
  • Execute account planning with all managed partners at a consistent level of detail based on partner engagement, loyalty, and responsiveness
  • Motivate and support partners to sell Acronis services to their existing customer base, attract new customers, and retain existing customers
  • Act as a trusted advisor and single point of contact throughout the partner lifecycle to enhance partner satisfaction
  • Drive upsell/cross-sell initiatives with partners to increase attach rates for new services
  • Engage and orchestrate all internal resources (e.g., pre-sales, technical support teams) needed to support dedicated partner growth
  • Profile vendors/tools sold/used by each managed partner and input all information into the partner passport (each CSP passport must have 80%+ fields completed)
  • Understand partner lifecycle management and lead partners through a series of regular activities focused on education, enlightenment, and commitment
